Privacy

What we collect

When you request samples or use the fit finder, we collect what you type: your email address, your zip code, and if you provide it, your trash can brand or model and rim measurement. Our hosting provider also records the time of your request and general location (country, region, city) derived from your connection, plus your browser type. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use it

To tell you when samples or products are available in your area, to answer fit questions, to decide where to launch next, and to run the pilot program. That is the whole list.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except the services that run this site and send our email, and only as needed to do those jobs. We do not sell or rent your information. If we ever partner with a retailer or distributor, we will not hand them your contact details without asking you first.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until two years pass with no activity on your request, whichever comes first.

Your choices

Email hello@bindone.net from the address you signed up with and we will delete your record within 10 business days. Every email we send includes a way to opt out. If you text us, standard message rates from your carrier apply, and you can reply STOP at any time.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Terms

Pre-launch status

BinDone is in development. Requesting samples puts you on a list; it is not an order, a reservation, or a guarantee that samples or products will be available in your area or on any date. Product details, including sizes, counts, and features described on this site, may change before launch.

Pilot program

Pilot households receive sample boxes at no charge in exchange for honest feedback. Samples are provided as-is for personal household use. We may limit, pause, or end the pilot at any time. If a sample does not work on your can, tell us and we will take it back and make it right.

Returns

Once products are sold, any box may be returned within 30 days of delivery for any reason. Details and the return address will be provided with your order.

Fit finder

Fit guidance is our best estimate based on what you tell us. Can dimensions vary by batch and model year. If we get it wrong, the pilot guarantee and return policy above apply.

Intellectual property

BinDone and the BinDone logo are trademarks of BinDone, New Albany, Ohio. The product design is the subject of pending patent applications. Site content is ours; please do not reproduce it without permission.

Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, BinDone is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site or any sample. Nothing here limits rights you have under Ohio or federal consumer law that cannot be waived.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. We may update this page; the date at the top tells you when. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
